St Boniface’s Summer School Funding 2021
Below are brief details of our summer school provision in line with the requirements of the funding agreement.
Our summer school ran for 2 days on 2nd and 3rd September. This was offered to all new Year 7 students to support the transition from Primary to Secondary school, to enable the students to meet key staff and get to know the school and to provide some experience of lessons before joining fully the following week.
Across the 2 days students were provided with a carousel of activities in Art, English, Science, Sports, Computer Science and Geography. The summer school was attended by 86% of the students invited and was extremely successful.
