Senior IT Technician
30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Grade G, £20,008 – £ 21,148 (pro-rata of full time salary £27,852 to £29,439)
We are seeking an experienced IT technician to support St Boniface’s College and Notre Dame.
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to maintain and support the continuously growing School’s network and IT infrastructure. The role will encompass network support; software support; Wireless networks; Security and system backups. The Senior Technician will be the first port of call for IT service requests so will need to have a ‘can do’ attitude, be flexible with a positive and enthusiastic outlook, have the ability to meet deadlines, be adaptable and customer service-focused with boundless energy.
An ability to multi-task, use excellent problem-solving skills and show a self-motivated approach is vital.
Our network team works to support 2 school sites located a few miles apart and there will be a requirement to work at both sites. We are Google schools so experience of this would be advantageous, as would experience of school based programs such as SIMS. Notre Dame and St Boniface’s College are Roman Catholic, single sex schools (girls at Notre Dame and boys at St Boniface) for 11-18 year olds.
