Careers, Education, Information Advice and Guidance

CEIAG is key to motivate students to raise aspiration and all students have an entitlement to effective guidance in their college career.
In Year 9, students will follow a programme regarding their GCSE choices to support them in their decisions. This includes a parents’ evening, a booklet to explain all of the options and an information evening as well as tutor time activities and information in lessons.

The careers programme includes specific careers education sessions, career guidance activities (group sessions and individual interviews with an independent advisor), information and research activities (in the Careers Room F141 and on the College Website), work-related learning and individual learning activities. Other focused events, e.g. Careers/Apprenticeship fair, apprenticeship events and University based activities are provided from time to time
